Lori, you are half way there! Now, click on the picture you've posted on your blog, then highlight and copy the web address. Go back into your dashboard, click on Edit Profile, and where the photo box is, paste the web address there. Save, republish your blog and it should be there.
Seems odd that you can't upload like you do with blog posts, but I'm sure blogger has some reason for it. Good luck!
I am just thrilled that, out of the blue, you are willing to help me. I had been trying to add this image via 'layout' 'add a page element' and selecting 'pictures' using this picture uploaded from flickr as well as the same image uploaded to a blog draft from my own computer. Nothing. I tried the same via your suggestion. Still nothing. I am copying the info from the address bar. I shall try my luck with the computer gremlins tomorrow.
My blog is a coping strategy for my poor memory. I began the City and Guilds Patchwork and Quilting Certificate, 79-2203, on-line in May 2007, with the Kemshalls at Design Matters. I really want to remember the details of the course and see the emergence, progress and development of my fabric explorations and expressions.
